It took me a long time for me to bite the bullet and buy my new MacBook Pro. What clinched it was the unbelievable price that it was going for on Amazon. At a 12% discount I couldn't resist. Trying to save every penny I opted for super saver delivery, but rather than the the 3-5 business days indicated it arrived at my home after just two days.
I've been using it for a couple of months now and I have to say that I'm completely delighted with the purchase.

I received my MacBook Pro last week and I am extremely impressed with it. It came within two days of the order and was in perfect condition. The laptop itself is simply 'incredible', there is no other word for it. This is just the base model and it is lightning fast, has awesome features such as the easy to use, intuitive and very handy Multitouch Trackpad and the incredibly long-lasting battery which can last around 8 - 10 hours, I was even running iMovie and several other programs with the backlight on full and the backlit keyboard on full and it still managed 5 or 6 hours, which is very impressive especially compared to my old HP which lasted around 30mins to 1 hour with nothing running. Typing on it is just a joy and the keyboard is very comfortable to use and you don't get cramps in your hand, especially if you follow the guidelines in the manual given. Apple has thought of everything with this laptop and it has neat little features like a button on the side which lights up a small LED strip to indicate your battery level without having to switch the laptop on. Another good thing about the laptop is that the start up and shutdown is so fast, due to the Mac OSX operating system the laptop powers up in around 10 - 15 seconds or less and shutdowns in around 3 seconds! The only problems I can think of with this laptop is that it only has 2 USB ports but it also has and SD card slot, bluetooth and Firewire 800 and it is rather expensive but it is totally worth it. In my opinion it is definitely worth the money and the price Amazon is offering it for is incredible, it is £999 or more anywhere else. A must buy.

Quite simply another stunning product from Apple! Having been a Mac user for 5 years and already owning several laptops, I can safely say that the MacBook Pro 13 (2010 model) is by far the best yet. I travel a great deal and at times my previous MBP 15'' was a little bulky so, having seen my brother's MBP 13'' (2009), I decided this was perfect for my needs but, which processor? Having read numerous reviews I opted for this, the 2.44Ghz model and I have no regrets whatsover! Excellent, speedy and lightning fast, it is quintessentially Apple! The unibody is beautiful and the screen is sharp, crisp and deep - so much better than previous laptops and the new optical trackpad is a joy to use - making this MBP stand head and shoulders above the rest...
Recommended for anyone looking for a 13'' MBP !
