I have a 17 inch HP pavillion laptop. I cant even leave this on a flat surface for more than 10 minutes before its groaning away and burning up.
I was looking about for a cooler wide enough to suit this laptop.
The cooler itself is about 15inches wide which although is smaller than my notebook, it stops it getting hot.
The area of my laptop which over heats is the back left. I would alwyas leave it overhanging my desk yet it would still get really toasty.
The fans on this cooler are not directly under the motor but none the less it doesnt get hot at all.
Considering the daft price i payed for this laptop i really cant complain with the cost of the cooler. It does the job and will hopefully keep this thing alive for a lot longer.

After much research chose this for my MacBook Pro 13inch and it works a treat. With one fan it has a gently cooling effect and noise is at a minimum. Laptop needs to be positioned carefully to avoid it slipping forwards. Overall very happy no longer to have warm knees.

This is an excellent cooler, and has really made a difference to the temperature of the laptop. The performance of the laptop has improved significantly. The cooler was delivered quickly, and the vendor responded well to enquiries.

Bought the Logitech Cooling Pad because my 2 year old HP dv5t had started shutting down due to overheating, especially when used on a solid surface like a desk. It's the first cooling pad I've ever had so can't compare it to any other models.
I've had the N100 for a month now and had no overheating problems whatsoever, in fact my laptop's downright cool. It certainly does the trick. Admittedly my laptop's not the most powerful out there and I see some other people have complained the fan doesn't have enough power for their machine. All I can say is it works very well for me.
The cooling pad itself looks less attractive than it does in the photos but as it's hidden under my laptop I don't mind about that. It's comfy to use on my lap and in bed, slightly less so on a desk but it's still very usable.
In all I'm very happy with the N100 as it's given my laptop a new lease of life.
